- None but thinking of the Android App for road trip planning
I am planning a road trip in europe some time this year and the combination of the TomTom Go Android app with Android Auto and the MyDrive Route Planner (web) with the catalogue of TomTom Road Trips to draw from is appealing.
The MyDrive Route planner map seems very poor in use with place names for quite large towns, only shown only when zoomed in to such a level that its relies on you knowing where they are in the first place. This makes it virtually unusable for route planning in unfamiliar areas- or am I missing something?
The facility to sync saved places and routes in my account to the app for use with Android Auto, is apparently limited to just 7 on a random basis. TT support state this is due to limitations imposed by the Android Auto (Google) rules but its odd that Google Maps on AA shows all of my many Saved Places so it might be TT's interpretation. Is this limit still in place? How do users get round this?
