Hi,
I just bought a TomTom XL 340 IQ Routes Edition gps yesterday in Brisbane, Australia.
On looking at the TomTom website's 'Buy a new map' page (TomTom, portable GPS car navigation systems) I saw a box to check the TomTom device model "Which TomTom device do I have?" where you enter the first two characters of your device's serial number and it tells you which device you have.
Out of idle curiosity I entered the first two digits of my device's serial number (RU) and the response was "Invalid serial".
Is there something wrong with the serial number on my device, or are the TomTom website admins just slow in updating their website?
