How To Use Without Setting Destination.

Hi Guys. I just got a TomTOm One XL and wish to use it sometimes without setting a destination. Example, I want to just drive around and have the GPS show me where I am and my POI's. I have tried to figure out how to do this but end up having to put in a destination which is annoying because if you dont follow the directions the GPS continues to recalculate and talk etc very annoying. ANy simple ideas, im no rocket scientist thats for sure.

No problem.
Make sure you have all menu options available. Just go to your preference menu and select show all menu options.
This will activate the 3rd main menu screen. On the 3rd page, select 'clear route' and you will no longer have a destination set.

Oh and make sure you update to firmware 7, its suppose to have some nice features
