how to save route that i want to take

i was wondering how to save a route that i take. I am going a different way then the tomtom 1 3rd is telling me , it is now recalculating, so when i get to destination can the route i take be saved. i add it as favorites but when i go there it takes me its way. So ican i save the route i want and how can i do it Thanks

i dont know much about it, but im guessing no. that feature is only available in the higher end models.

In order to save a route, you have to start it as an itenerary. Then all of your changes are saved for use later. If you don't have an itenerary button, search the threads to find out how to add it.

Yes, your 3rd Edition is 'crippled' in that they removed the itinerary function. There is a lot of info in the forum on how to restore this using a custom menu.
