Just bought the GO730 from Costco.com (still waiting for UPS). This is my first GPS. I pull a 40 foot Toy Hauler RV 5th wheel and the "lane guidance" looks like something that I can really use at times, so I'm hoping that it really works.

Welcome. When you get the unit, make sure you make a full backup using Explorer, not TomTom Home. Ensure hidden files/folders are showing as are extensions for known file types. Consider this backup your 'safety net'.

Also, ensure you charge the unit in its dock for 2-4 hours.

Then have fun and enjoy the gps.

Thanks for the welcome and advise. The back up is the first thing on the to do list. I have been lurking in this forum for a few weeks and have learned a lot of good info. from all you people on here. Thanks
