Goto city

If I'm randomly driving around and we decide to go to some city ("Hey let's go to Whateverville to see the World's Largest Bowl of Jello") why (unlike on my 'real' TomTom) do I have to enter a full address?
I have no idea what the address is. I just want to get to the city center. I can ask where the Jello is from a local.

I have on my 720 with application 8.351 Navigate to-->Address--->City Centre.

On a low end model (EASE), it is Navigate to-->Address-->City. Then put in the city. At the street screen, after a few seconds, the first choice will be city centre.

The workaround I use on iPhone is to go to Browse Map, zoom on the city in question and select a point downtown. Then navigate to Point on Map.
