City Names all in Gibberish

Hi

I have a 720 Western European.

All my maps are present however a file has been corrupted as now all the names of places and cities/ street
are complete gibberish.
Can anyway tell me which is the file to replace - I guess it would be cname.dat.

Well, try a pin reset on the bottom of the device. If that doesn't help, you may need to purchase a new map. The latest version is 920 and 925 is due within a few weeks.

Just in case - what map version are you currently running on your 720?
For just the cname.dat file, it MAY be possible to use one from a matching version from another unit.
Problem - it runs about 180MB in size at this point in time.
