I'm in need of a file so I can do a little test. Can someone please post the .toc file that was apart of the navcore 8 download. It should be in "My Documents" under where you store your TomTom stuff. The directory tree should look like the the following.

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\TomTom\HOME\Downloads\program

Thanks.

.toc file

You can edit with WORDPAD (PC), or TEXTEDIT (MAC)....to change the TOC file to the corresponding item that you would like to install....or, alternatively.....lets say you had navcore_8-1.010.9369.gox30.cab and the item inside of the .TOC is navcore_8-1.010.9369.gox20.cab....you can rename "navcore_8-1.010.9369.gox30.cab to navcore_8-1.010.9369.gox20.cab" and then go into TomTom home, and install it from the "items on my computer" feature.....understand?

Look at this attached image, and see how easy the file is manipulated.

Thanks. I was able to get a .toc file from another forum.
