Custom route

Is it possible to create a custom route?
I prefer taking a different road than the one selected by my TT One.
How can I set this up?
In a similar vein, can I program in a rest stop/meal stop/etc.? Or am I forced to create two separate routes?

You can choose Navigate via specific road.

Also you can choose Itinerary Planning for planned stops.

I succesfully "created" a route for my wife using itinerary planning. She doesn't like the expressway so I planned the trip to avoid the freeway but tomtom wanted to take all these unecessary turns/streets on the way to the destinantion. I recalculated the route a couple pf times and was still not satisfied with results so I added a couple of waypoints before the destination and "forced" the tomtom to go my desired route.

That's one of the purposes of Itinary Planning, you are in the driver seat.
That's how what I like about TomTom , you can choose Auto, Semi Auto or Manual.

Hey folks - 1st post - got my TT1 this week and loving it.

I created a custom route in my TT1 using the Home software. Is there a way (or a need) to save this custom route?

Will the custom route be remembered each time I select this destination, or in the future will it default back to the original planned route created by the TT1?
