Custom Alert Sounds

Ok.. Since i am a big homer simpson fan, i would like to create a alert thingy on my tomtom for donut shops. I would like to play homer saying "mmmmmm donutt" every time i pass a dunkin donuts or similar shop.

Is this possible? if so, how?

Yep...

For the custom poi category you can use either a dedicated sound on the unit (I use the cow 'moo') for my Tim_Hortons (a large donut chain in Canada and some places in the States) OR you can record a voice and set that as a warning.

So...if you do a good imitation of Homer ..... then go for it.

I hope you don't mind but the links I found some donut sounds for bzzbee2

All wavs on this page are sampled at (8 bit mono 11Khz)

TomTom Home says custom sounds should be 22050 Hz Mono, with a sample size of 16-bit
And can either be a .WAV or an OGG Vorbis file

So try these and if they don't work convert them using something like audacity
"Mmmmm... forbidden donut...(munching sounds)"
"Donuts - is there anything they can't do?"
"Mmmm... donuts..."
