Can you transfer Garmin favourites to XL2 IQ

Looking at changing from a Garmin Streetpilot i3 to a Tom Tom XL IQ. I have built up a list of Favourite addresses that I don't want to lose. Whilst some of them are regular addresses many, such as golf clubs, amateur rugby grounds etc. have been built up by actually arriving at a location and then saving that exact spot. Can I save the data and transfer it onto the Tom Tom? Does the Tom Tom allow this?

Thanks for that. The key seems to come down to whether or not I can accept the unit not having all of the European maps on at one time. The Tom Tom looks good but that is a flaw.
