Can the XL335TM accept custom splash screen?

I have a .bmp file of a custom splash screen created for a TomTom device, but before I do anything too stupid I wanted to determine if the XL335TM can accept a custom splash screen?

If so, which directory or folder contains the factory splash screen? Thanks,

That model has a 4.3 inch screen so needs a wider startup image.

You could upload the image here:
Splash screen generator for TomTom

and select the 720 as the model (same screen width). the created file would replace the splashw.bmp file in the root of the unit.

Rename the existing file to splashw.bmp.bak, in case you change your mind.
