Costco, has sold out of the 920's any other good buy's that anyone knows of.
Thanks.

Happy Holidays to everyone!!

Costco has them for 399. However I placed my order on 11/30 and haven't heard from them yet. Hope to get it before X-mas.

I ordered my 920 from Costco on 11/26 and had it in hand 11/30.

The only GPS units my local Costco had were a couple Magellan units - nothing else. No TT, no Garmin.

I am slowly warming up to this 920, but after taking it out to Las Vegas last week I was pretty disappointed in the lack of Casino catergory POIs - not only are many of the big name ones on the Strip missing, several that are listed are in the wrong location. My Nuvi 680 had no problem in that department. I have done several map corrections via MapShare and I would think by now somebody would have been to Vegas and uploaded some corrections but I am not seeing any changes - other than the ones I made myself. Maybe the MapShare system is too new or not working. Has anyone seen any POI changes or updates?

I just checked and it is up for sale again at $399. I got mine yesterday and apparently they have ordered thousands of them. Mine came with a free subscription code for 1 year of maps.

From their buyer "I've got a couple thousand units being shipped to me next week and have asked that your order get shipped out once the goods arrive"

Has anyone seen the "1 free year of maps" from any other vendor or is this a Costco thing? Any chance you could post a picture of the coupon?

I'm still waiting for my 920T ($529) to get here from Amazon but if one get a new set of maps a year from now it may be worth ordering one from Costco + tax + a traffic receiver from Amazon. Only problem is that it costs about $50 more that way but the maps could offset that cost.

Does the 920 include the remote control? If not then that would be something in favor of the 920T (if you want a remote).

920 has the remote. Only thing it does not include is the TMC traffic receiver.

Sorry I haven't got back to you, trying to figure this thing out.

In my Instruction package was a loose piece of tomtom documentation that reads "new maps for 1 year" + "tomtom map share" There is then a code number to activate this service. On the rear of this document is are instructions for how to activate the free updating of maps for 1 year which specifically states that it is for the 920.

hope this helps, sorry no access to a camera right now.

I bought my TomTom from Office Depot on Black Friday. They had the $100 TomTom rebate which brought it to $499 and then a $50 MIR. After seeing Costco's $399 deal, I went to the store to have it price matched. They told me they wouldn't because Costco doesn't carry it in store. So I called office Depot CS. and after a few minutes on the phone, they priced matched it for me. I got it now for $399 and the $50 MIR is still processing. $349 seems like a bargain for this unit.

Now the 920 is gone from the Costco website.

Luckily, I ordered mine on New Years Day from Costco and received a shipping notice today. I was checking the website today to see if they might offer the Garmin 760 or the TT920T and I noticed the 920 was totally gone, not just sold out.

Costco doesnt have the 150 off anymore which ended the 3rd. Now the only promo is 100 off. The Costo's in NJ do have Garmin's in the store. The Garmin 680 for 479.99 which is a pretty good deal.
