A little help

I updated my Carminat in January this year ... and 4 weeks later my car was written off. I bought the same model car (Megane 2 ) and tried the updated card and got a no maps error screen. My old Renault was 2013 new is 2010 so I get that it may not be compatible. Is there a way of putting the update from Jan on to the card without forking out £40 ?

Afraid not. Maps are associated with serial number of a specific device. You'll need to seek out a Renault dealer for a current map (the production map's current number is 1100).
