930 go Traffic bar keeps disappearing

Hi all,
I have a problem with my traffic bar - it keeps disappearing.

I have to pin-reset my tomtom and can then use it with the traffic bar on - but it will only work for a few trips and then all of a sudden when I turn the tomtom on it does not appear and I will have to pin-reset again.
This is quite annoying.

I was wondering if others have had the same problem and if there are any fixes - or if I have to ship it back to the manufacturer for repair.

Is this with the rds-tmc antenna which is the thin male plug or the newer model with mini usb connector? It maybe the plug itself is loose.
