910 custom poi and "favorites" address display

Love my new 910 but I'm not able to see the custom POIs I've downloaded. I followed the directions at both clubtomtom and GPS_data_team websites which were similar. I placed the files (OV2 and bitmap file for each) in the Western_and_Central_Europe folder because that was the only place I saw the OV2 and bitmap files. I'm in North America but that folder does not show any OV2 files.

What'd I do wrong?

Second question. I added some favorite locations by typing in the address. Is there anyway to see that address? When I go into manage favorites all I can do is rename or delete.

You want to save the .ov2 files in the map folder you want to use. In other words, are you using Western and Central Europe Map? That is where the POI's will be listed if you switch to it.

Copy the .ov2 files in the North_America folder, that should do it.

The only way to do that is if the description of the favourite has the address in it. Don't change it to Tom's House for example.

What I do is have the address then the name after that.
example:

1234 Main st - Tom's House
or
1234 Main st, Hollywood - Tom's House
