Tomtom go630 gone crazy

My GO 630 is automatically changing the menu screen and when trying to insert the street names other letters are appearing on the screen.

I tried to reset the device a couple of times but the problem still persists.

Can anyone please advise how this can be solved?

Some can fix the problem by cleaning under the bezel with the sharp edge of a business card. Or removing a screen protector if there is one.

However, many are reporting a problem with what appears to be warping of the case itself adding additional pressure to the screen.

Is the unit under warranty?
