Tomtom Go upgrades

We have a TT Go, one of the new models
When we had a TT 720 it was possible to download software that gave you height, width restrictions for a Motorhome or Caravan. These were 3rd Party upgrades
Is this still possible or are we tied to using TT for all the software upgrades?

Yes. Tomtom has had closed system architecture since about 2012.
