Start 25 Broken connector ribbon

Hi This is my 1st post so apologies if am in wrong section. I own a start 25 which has served me well. I have noticed an intermittent problem with screen going blank and on investigation I have found a broken screen connector ribbon ref LMS500HF06-009. I have found a replacement on ebay however code is LMS500HF06-002. Would anybody know if the 2 are compatible

The ref nos given are for complete lcd screen

Universal replacements for the LMS500HF06 are sold for several rev numbers (-02, -06 and -09), so it appears that they are interchangeable.

It would be nice to know what the rev numbers represent in the way of differences, though.

How the heck did the flex cable connector get broken? These are usually only broken when someone doesn't understand how to release them when separating the screen from the case, like when doing a battery replacement.
