When importing a gpx file into plan.tomtom.com, it does not use any part of the file name as a reference and just randomly names the route whatever it wants. This is maddening because I have no idea what it has decided to call the route when I search through the 50 routes in my routes. Half the time, the name it has given the route makes no sense at all!

Is there a way to get around this or be able to find the route once it has been imported? Just let me name the route during the file import process. Any workarounds?

Where are you creating the route?
I use various tools. If I use Google route planner and export as a KML it will name the file "Directions from..." and the name of the Layer I gave in the google route planner when I convert it to a gpx file using GPSVisualizer. If I import a GPX file from another program or use Maps to GPX to convert a Google route URL, it will assign a random name for the route.
