Rider 550
Over the last couple of days I've created several routes on MyRouteApp that I saved to my MyDrive account using the option available in MyRouteApp. Within moments I can see those routes on both my Windows computer (at plan.tomtom.com) and in the MyDrive app on my Android phone. However, even though I trigger the sync function on plan.tomtom.com the routes are not appearing on my Rider 550. I've tried logging out of MyDrive on the Rider 550 and then logging back in to no avail. I've powered the unit off and restarted it. It is connected to both wifi and to my phone, and the maps show current traffic updates. Clearly, the Rider 550 is receiving data, just not the routes that should be synchronizing.

Any tips for what to try next? Thanks.

To check if it's not a problem with the route that you created, try adding a favorite if it works, it's because you have a problem when you created the route.

This will demonstrate my ignorance, but I’ll ask anyway — what is a “favorite”, and how does one add it?

Favorite = a place it can be a hotel a restaurant.

Thanks for your help, @Willy875. The favorite synced to the device very quickly. In your earlier reply you indicated that the routes may not be synching to the device due to a problem with the route. What might that be? Both the website (plan.tomtom.com) the MyDrive Android app seem happy with the routes and my default avoided road settings (both are set to avoid unsaved roads.)

Weird? If you created your route with Mydrive there should be no problem.
Try creating a new one with a start and finish to see if you have the same problem.

So I had to do a factory reset to solve this issue. Even routes made on plan.tomtom.com did not synchronize with the device, so I proceeded with the wipe/reset. That fixed it, and all of my routes (even those transferred from MyRouteApp.com) appeared on the device. Bit of pain to have to restore the connections to my phone and helmet Bluetooth adapter, but at least it is working now. Thanks again for your help, @Willy875.

To reset parameters then system reset factory value no it does not erase the map.
