Hi,

I bought a rider 2 off of ebay. I did not get a head set or a car mount. I purchased a car mount with built in speaker from Amazon. It is the correct model from TT.
My question is, how do I get the speaker to work? When I turn it on, it says that the sound wont work without a bluetooth headset. What do I need to do to make it work? I really don't need the headset.

Thanks for any help,

Kev

When mine is in the cradle, the sound is linked already. There is no BT connection for the car mount.

Does the power have to plugged in?

I will try that tonight. I just tried it with the internal power.

You answered your own question. Yes it must be plugged into either 110 adapter or 12 V to power the speaker.

You are correct. I plugged it in and it worked. You would think it would work on the battery power. Oh well.
I am happy now.

Thanks for the help.
