Recent destinations not updating

I've been using the tomtom go app for a couple of years with no issues, but as of the last few weeks, my recent destinations are not updating if I'm just using the app on my phone (samsung s23 ultra) but if I'm using it on android auto, they update fine. I've tried clearing the cache, uninstall the app, logging out, but non of these have worked. Any ideas?

Your thing is weird.

Normally, what you see on Android Auto is a mirror of what you have on your phone.

It does mirror what's on my phone, but only stores the recent destinations that were used whilst on AA. Strange

I didn't experience this particular bug, but I am grateful for the update, I receive it this morning. Previous version was from November 2023.

Is this the only fix in this update?
No updates for Android Auto?

There's another fix to night mode in Android Auto. The rest is administrative and not visible to end-users.

But how do I force the update? I run 3.6.258-beta and Play doesn't offer an update

Maybe Clear Cache.?

I went the hard way, uninstalled and reinstalled, whereby I had to download all the maps once again
