good morning all
I have a go superior and I have to say the maps are terrible.
I use my device mostly for work and when I have to visit a business I only get a postcode and very rarely street numbers but I am finding my device usually stops navigating in a totally different postcode and sometimes over a mile from where I need to be.
As I said it's not all the time but it gets really frustating as I struggle to find what I am looking for.
If I try using Waze or Google maps they are very accurate and take me within a short distance.
Why is it that free apps are better than an expensive Tomtom device....In an ideal world I would have street numbers but on the occasions I do get them they are like 150-160 somewhere street and my device doesn't allow those sorts of numbers.
Not sure if there is anything that can be done as I have already contacted Tomtom and given them a few examples and all they seem to do is correct them(eventually) but most of the map is still poor.

Never really seemed to have this problem with earlier devices

We’ve just tried a friends Garmin and set it to take us to 34, Xxxx Xxx. Wow, it took us straight to number 34 which is located in a long urban road.
On the return, we set it for a street in a rural village and, once again, it was accurate.

Makes you think?!

A Garmin GPS is Garmin a Tomtom GPS is Tomtom if it finds Tomtom will find you an address while Garmin will not find it.

What I mean.
Garmin and Tomtom are 2 different brands there may be options on Garmin that Tomtom does not have there may also be options on Tomtom that Garmin does not have.
