Hello I just bought a tom tom one xl from a friend and he has a VW symbol on the screensaver how do I get my corvette symbol on an his off thanks

Welcome to TTF.

One way is to connect to Home and under Add Maps/ etc and arrow right to Splashscreens. There are a bunch available from the TomTom community and you can filter the choices by automobile brand, I think. A corevette may be one choice.

If so, replace the splashscree.bmp file in the root of your unit with the one downloaded using TomTom (Home may not automatically install it in the root of the unit but see how that goes.......)

Another way is to create your own image. See here for info.

Use image editing software to determine the dimensions of the original splash and make yours the same size. I have a picture of my Morgan come up on my 930.
