black screen won't turn on

After going through a month of no GPS, I tried pressing down and heard the drum noise. It worked. When I parked my car later and turned on again no GPS.
I tried pressing down again and the screen went black.
I connected to my computer, an orange light went on, but screen is black.

It's the TomTom Bluetooth that came with Fiat 500 bought in the US

Looks like you have already done what I suggested in the other thread... looks like we're working in two places at once.

I'm not very familiar with these "Blue & Me" units they are shipping with the Fiat. It's just recently that Fiat has really returned to North America -- along with those TomTom units.

Leave it connected to your PC until you see the light finally turn green (not orange) which will indicate that it is fully charged.

Try to turn it on normally. If that doesn't work, press the power button until you hear the drums, but then immediately release the button. This should reboot the unit. Wait to see if it appears to power up normally. We'll start again from there.

Let us know what it does.
