Hi. Have tried to do this a couple of times. It says it’s backed up and the latest back up date appears. However, if I leave the page and return to it, the backup mentioned is the previous one, not the latest

Hi
It's very simple to make a backup on your computer.

Open your current SD card in Windows Explorer, copy its contents to your computer.

Actually I use a Mac but you are right. It is a simple process but as I’ve explained, it didn’t work

I don't know how to do it with Mac so I couldn't advise you.
On Mac, there may be hidden files that you need to open.

See if these instructions help:

Hello Canderson. I have two problems with the TOMTOM Carvinat Life navigator

1 when creating a backup in TOMTOM HOME it loads 49-45% and gives the message "MAYBE THE NAVIGATOR IS DISABLED".

2 I, in the route planner, which is TOMTOM HOME, create a route. I click synchronize with my device, on the monitor it says synchronized with the device, but in the navigator this route does not exist. What could be the problem?

If Home is not working properly, open your current SD card in Windows Explorer, copy its contents to your computer.

As Willy suggests, we do NOT recommend HOME for backups for a couple of different reasons
You can back up the Carminat data using your PC by simply copying the the entire content to a safe directory/folder somewhere on your PC. Instructions at the link below:
