I have just encountered an issue with my TomTom XL-S account.
My daughter has a TomTom 130 which she used on my computer to update her maps.
I guess I didn't log out of my account and as a result when I went to update my TomTom, Home was expecting her unit. There were 3 choices in Home that tried to resolve the issue, none worked.
I called Support and after my explanation they said things were resolved and gave me a reference number.
I tried at two different times to update my account but still had the same result, Home was expecting my daughters unit.
I got the idea that perhaps both of our serial numbers were in the Windows XP registry. Using Regedit I found many references to her unit, which I took the chance and deleted.
I can now update my unit.
