No problems here..........

Sorry........... I'm now seeing on a Brit forum users also getting the error when they do put the files on their unit and try the postal code search. Don't know what to tell you.........

The UK files are faulty in the file. This is the response from TomTom:

Somehow the incorrect side files ended up on the TT website. I have informed my colleagues in order to correct the mistake. No idea how long it will take to have the right files on the website, but I guess this should no more than one or two days??

Sorry, that datestamp of TomTom is bogus - they have just put the older v885, which was originally dated 9Feb2012, into the current zip.

Quicker than waiting for an answer here.... Just download the pack from the link above, unzip it and read the "Great_BritainPostal.ver" file with Notepad.

That will tell you the version number.

It was still v885 when I last looked a couple of days ago.
