Hi. New user here. Just wanted to know if I have a problem with my new TomTom. I charged it just after Christmas and used it for probably 20 minutes. It has been in the basement (about 60 degrees) turned off since then. I just went to program it for tomorrow and I can't turn it on. I believe the battery is dead. Should the unit loose it's charge under those conditions (or any conditions) that quickly or may there be something wrong with it. Thanks for any response and help.

No it shouldn't. Understand that models such as yours really aren't 'off' as such but, for sake of another term, are in a 'sleep mode' which still does take some battery power.

That said, if you fully charged the unit for 2-4 hours, a new unit should not be totally dead this fast.

Try to hold the power button for 10-15 seconds and see if it boots.
