Hello all. Just got a new Rider2 for Christmas.

Tried to "Operate My Rider" from TomTom Home, does not work. They are working on new software to correct this.

Tried to update my map through the Map Guarantee, did not work (there is a new version). Called tech support, they told me I would have to show proof of when it was purchased (actually Dec.23rd). So I had to upload documents for proof.

Still awaiting reply on this. Meanwhile I found your forum and thought it would be a great place to learn a little more. I just hope I bought the right brand, it has not been a good experience to this point.

Just wanted a good unit for bikes. I have a Vulcan 1600 and do a lot of distance riding. It cam down to the Rider or Zumo, tell me I made the right choice.

There are some pretty hard-core bikers on this forum who are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to your model. I'm sure they'll be along to provide any assistance you may need.
