USB cable

I was given a Tomtom GO 700 and it works fine.
It didn't come with a USB cable but I noticed the plug on the unit is the same as the one on my Canon camera.
Is it ok to use my camera USB cable with the Tomtom?

If it fits, go for it. It's a very standard USB mini-B type connection.
