TomTom Go Discover Gen2?

Hey, I sent my TomTom Go Discover for assistance because the interface was jerky and forced restart happened very often. So after 3 months, thanks to the "great" TomTom Support, I received the replacement device. Upon opening the package, at first I thought it was a Go Superior, seeing the new logo on the screen, but when i turning it on and configuring it I saw that it was still a Go Discover (also because the port is still micro USB). Looking at the invoice I realize that they wrote the product detail "Discover 7" 32gb Gen 2". So presumably there is an updated version of Go Discover, just like Go Camper Max Gen 1/2. Did you know it?

GO Discover Generation 1 or 2 still have the same software version if that's what you want to know.

There was a supply chain issue that caused TomTom to switch GPS chips on this model of device. If the serial number starts with a "Z", it has the original chip. If the serial starts with a "Y", it has the newer chip. Chip functionality is the same.

Other than that, no difference.

The serial number of the old one and the new one start anyway with "Y"
