Time out

I try to be very careful about postings on sites like this. That means that I take my time to edit my postings before they get sent. Sites like this one have the nasty habit of imposing a time limit before they log you out again. I can see the importance of such a feature at a bank's online site but for a forum like this?

It happens to me even when I am just viewing threads. From both a work and home connection....I'm not sure it's specific to posting.

I dunno, I have started posts then gone to HOME to make sure what I was saying happened, had lunch, came back, finished, previed and posted.
What time out period are y'all talking about?
