This youtube video on TomTOm and Google Maps a future planned feature?

I really like how easy it is supposed to be to send your map to tomtom from google maps but this video from google doesnt work for me.

Is this a planned feature for google maps?

Hi Chris,

It doesn't add a Google map to your device, but adds a destination.

That video is showing how to use Google maps to find a business (POI) and then send the info (address, LAT/LON, and phone #) to your TomTom via the computer. (Notice in the video that the actor clicks on the 'business' tab). Before you send it, you'll need to have your TomTom connected to the computer and TomTom HOME running. In using HOME -- if you never clicked on 'operate your device' before -- HOME will have to download another file to continue. After that's downloaded and installed, you should be able to 'send' the business address -- or POI to your TomTom. HOME will ask you where you want to put it. I just store in my favorites.

Hope this helps. I just did it myself and it does work. I'm hoping eventually we will be able to send Google map routes to our TomToms.
