My 950 is genuine, there is no other icon.

May be, I can draw this icon ?

Why not take a picture of it and post that on the forum, I do have a full set of screen grabs from a 950 showing all icons but that will take quite some time to post up here - Mike

That looks like the LIVE symbol. As in, when unit is connected to Live services.

Not sure, though.

That symbol is displayed on the main navigation screen when the device has no Live service, this could be due to a server issue at TomTom or you being in an area devoid of the mobile phone signal the device is set to use - Mike

It isn't a menu icon its a small icon that displays on the main Nav screen when you lose the Live connection, if the device is working correctly you should never see this appear - Mike

Even if the device is working fine, the symbol will show up if you go out of GPRS reception range.
