Hi All,
Im new here, I have a Mio PDA with Tomtom navigator 6 installed, thinking of upgrading to a 730 with tomtom truck, better for my work, if it works ok, any advice would be appreciated

The truck map/models are not available here in North America but there are plenty of Brits, including two supermods MikeAlder and Andy_P, who I'm sure will be around to advise you.

I don't know much about the "Truck" models I'm afraid, I'venever used them.

But I know the Go7000 Truck (and the 'Motorhome' edition) are based around the old 730 hardware.
They are now joined by the new Go7100 and 7150 models which are based on the Go1000/5 hardware (same spec except the 5" screen on the 7150).

You can also get an SD card for the ordinary Go 5/7/920 and 5/7/930 models, with the Truck maps and software from the Go7000

hi Andy,
Thanks for the advice, very helpful, i'd like the Go 7000 but its a bit out of my price range, ive found a 2nd hand TT Truck SD card, on a well known website, (an original 1 not a copy) for ?60, so i'm looking for a GO 720, 730 at the right price,
