Externall Antena prob

Ned a little more help....Whenever I conect my external antenea to my tomtom it will powerdown thetomtom and I have to reset the device any one ever see this before? Thanks (o:

Your antenna and/or its cable or the jack on your device might have a short somewhere.

Could be I thought of that too...It is a pain to get it pluged in and oce its in it doesn't want to remove )o; I really have not had to se it as of yet but just wanted to see if this is the norn...you never now. Thanks for your help.
