Hello everyone, please tell me why Tom Tom mapping, when asked for a fastest or shortest route between A and B, it will take me out a specific way but generally back via a different route. One usually would return the same way when not using gps. Regards, Al.

If you have IQ routing and have selected 'fastest', then the IQ data imbedded in the map may reveal that returning at a different time than going results in a faster route by NOT retracing your steps going. Make sense?
