As title really, i have cracked the LCD screen on my tomtom go 720 so i cant see 3/4 of the image, the touch pad still work, and the unit still seems to be working as it should, but i just cant seem much of what im doing.

So if anyone could tell me where i can get a replacement at a reasonable price it would be much appreciated, i have searched ebay, but there only seems to be one on there and the seller wants what i feel alot for a screen (?65)

Probably all you can hope for. With devices these days going for $100 USD, not much market for repairing older units.

there's a little more choice now than two years ago.

ebay has them these days for $50 used, broken, as-is. Mostly from a company in texas. Don't restrict your search much. 'tomtom as-is' or ' tomtom repair' is usually sufficient. within a week or two there'll be one. Maybe even your model.
There's a plug/jack combination inside that is essentially the monitor adapter ribbon cable connector. If you're delicate it can be replaced.
Put in a new battery while youre at it 'cause that plug can only be used a few times until its broken.
