Satellite Acquisition

Hi,

Flew from Toronto to LA and, although I changed my home location, am still unable to acquire satellites. Can't seem to find a way to "tell" the device my current location in order to acquire the SATs.

Can anhyoine help me out please.

It will take a few minutes with the device STATIONARY in an open area to grab the satellites. Just be patient.

Tomtom gets confused if you move multiple timezones.

I've found it picks up signal quicker if the satellite detail screen is showing. (tap the satellte bars, then on the next screen tap the satellite bars again).
