No sound at all from TomTom Go Premium X

My TomTom premium go doesn’t make any sound at all, even when starting up you no longer get the drums. I’ve checked all the settings (volume & voice etc) even tried changing the voice (it’s on Serena at present). It does this randomly then for no reason will work normally for a while then stop again. Tried resetting, still doing it. It doesn’t work more often than it does. Any help please?
