Coordinates GO520

When I try to enter decimal coordinates I can get as far as "53.4xxxxx - 1." (I'm entering the For example: coordinates) but when I enter the next digit the TOMTOM says "Coordinate is out of range"
Any ideas?

When you go to Search-->Whole world-->lat/long and click on it, the device shows 3 formats the lat/long can be in. Make sure what you are entering follows the format shown.

Drop the space between - and 1 and it should get you somewhere to the South West of Doncaster.

For what it's worth, six digits after the decimal is overkill. That's one more than the device itself can resolve in physical space (less than a meter!). So five is plenty good.
