remote 910 compatible with 930?

hi - i have a 930, but have lost the remote - i've found a "910 remote" advertised, but not a 930. can anyone please tell me if they are compatible? thanks!!

No they are not, the 910 remote uses a simple radio frequency link thats open to any device, the x20 and x30 series employ a Bluetooth remote control which is paired to the device it is used with.

The older remotes from the x10 series were "great fun" in traffic jams as it was possible to mess around with a TomTom unit in the car in front, quite funny watching the driver of the car in front of yours wondering what was going on with their device as you operated it, the bluetooth units stopped this from being possible - Mike

Thanks Mike - you've just saved me from buying something that would have been useless to me! I was getting desperate with all of the 930 remotes apparently out of stock Regards
