Which country best to buy TomTom

I live in Switzerland where the law is strict about camera detection. Can anyone tell me if I bought a TT in this country would it have such features disabled even in countries where the laws are less strict? We plan to drive in England and I want the same features as I would get if I bought the unit in England. Are TT's basically the same no matter which country you buy them in? Thanks a lot for any advice.

Thank you dhn. I called the UK number and they assured me that no matter where I buy a TomTom the features will be the exactly same. So I just bought the 825 Europe model here in Switzerland. Thanks.
