Where do I check to see if I have the latest map version.

You have to use HOME 2
Click 'File'
Then 'Use lastest maps Guarantee'

with unit on click the lower right corner of the screen it will pull up the software version, click that and it will open the info about your unit, it show the map number there, at least on the 510 it does.
