TomTom for iPhone (car kit) bluetooth/charging issue

Hi

Does anyone have a fix to the ongoing iphone car kit not charging or bluetooth connecting issue.

I was told by TomTom that its an issue with some users on iOS 4.2 or 4.2.1 and tomtom app v1.6. Means car kit wont charge iphone nor connect/find bluetooth.

They say its down to apple to release new iOS but i have beta for iOS 4.3 and its not working in that even.

Any help welcome as i have a v expensive iphone car kit that simply holds the phone and does nothing else!
