Model 50/5

Have got new Model 50/5. (I've had various previous models). Have done all the usual registrations and setting up and have downloaded the manual. My query is re the ON/Off button. I just cannot get the unit to switch off at all. There is no audible click to be heard on the switch and despite following the manual inst. the unit remains on.

Can anyone advise please? Pete

Have solved my own problem. I was wrongly assuming the the ON/OFF switch was one the back of unit as in my previous model. Now find it on the top.
