I recently purchased a Go50 after previously having a Garmin and a Nauman.

I can't see an option to set the map orientation so that I travel up the screen when I haven't set a destination.

My previous GPS models would show me travelling up the screen even if I haven't set a destination. I can see how to set this if I have set a destination but not if I haven't.

Am I missing something?

.... Menu / scroll right / Settings / Appearance / Guidance view / 2D (in direction of travel) will create a 2D view where the map faces in your direction of travel at all times.

Thanks but I had it set that way and it only functions properly when I have a destination set.

On the primary driving map screen, push the little compass arrow icon above the +/- button and see if that toggles the orientation for you.
