GPS signal

Hi ..I've just downloaded an update...but it will not pick up a valid GPS signal..never had this problem before and it's from my home base..it's been waiting for about 20 mins now

progress..it came on after about an hour..stayed on for about a minute then went off ..then back on again...it is oscillating like this ..I assume it's satellites problems ..so will try again tomorrow..and I am fully up to date

You haven't said what model you have but try a drum reset on the unit by holding the power button about 20 seconds till you hear the drum sounds unless your model has a dedicated reset hole.
